You can find information in a number of ways. Enter keywords at the top of the page (this can include medical terms and people’s names), choose a topic or type of content from the navigation menu, and use the on-page filters to help narrow your results. You can also combine a keyword search with the on-page filters.

Try using a broader search term or different keywords. Also check your spelling or use part of a word if you aren’t sure how to spell it in its entirety. To narrow your search, you can use the on-page filters. Finally, if you think the item you are looking for will have been uploaded recently, try using the sort options above the results, selecting ‘Newest first’.

If your search is returning too many results, you can start by entering more specific keywords. If you’re still struggling to find the search result, you can narrow down the search by using the sidebar filters. You can filter the results by Type of content, Topic, Tag, Authors/Credits and Date range.

There are several things you can do to improve this. First, check your spelling of any keywords used. Next, you could broaden your search terms by using more general keywords or removing some of the more restrictive filters, such as tags or types of content. Alternatively, you can also try using synonyms or alternative keyword terms for the same concept. If these adjustments still do not yield results, you can remove the keyword and refine your search using the sidebar filters to narrow down your results. It’s also possible that the ISPN Library does not (yet) contain the content you are searching for.

To find the most recent result, you can sort the results using the sort options dropdown above the results. You can sort the results by ‘Newest First’, ‘Oldest First’ or ‘Relevance’.

The ISPN Library has a dedicated list results view which differs in two ways from the default search. Firstly, the results are shown as a list, without images. Secondly, there are more results shown per page. The faster loading of results on this page will also benefit users with slower internet connection speeds.
